IndyGo Fare Pricing

Effective January 1, 2009

Please allow up to 10 business days for shipment of fare passes ordered online, by phone.  Passes may also be ordered in person at the IndyGo Customer Service Center kiosk located in the Indianapolis City Market.  Visa and Mastercard accepted for advance purchase of fare passes.

IndyGo Half Fare Program

IndyGo offers Half Fare passes to the following groups of people:

  • Persons 65 and older
  • Youth 18 and younger
  • Persons with disabilities

Proof of Eligibility – passengers must present one of the following to the Operator:

  • Valid IndyGo Half Fare ID Card
  • Valid Student ID – Students K-12 (not university or college students)
  • Valid Medicare Card

Applications for Half Fare ID Cards:

  • Persons 65 or older must complete an application with proof of age
  • Persons 18 and younger must complete an application with proof of age
  • Persons with disability must complete an application as well as the supplemental form for proof of disability completed by passenger’s health care provider

Persons not eligible for Half Fare purchase/use:

  • Persons presenting a College/University ID
  • Persons without an IndyGo Half Fare ID Card, Valid Medicare Card or Student ID (K-12)

The only college/university special offer is the 31-Day S Pass – these passes are sold DIRECTLY to accredited colleges and universities in Indianapolis.  Distribution is handled by the colleges/universities directly to its students.  Those students much show their valid College/University ID to their operator when using the 31-Day S Pass.  For more information, visit the S Pass page.

IUPUI S Pass

This pass is used by current IUPUI students to ride IndyGo’s Fixed Route Service in Marion County - students must swipe the pass in the fare box and show a valid IUPUI student ID (Jagtag) each time they board IndyGo.  This pass is not valid on any express service, including IndyGo Commuter Expresses or the Greenline Downtown/Airport Express.  The pass may not be used on any Flexible Services, including Open Door and Late Night.  Students may obtain an S-Pass through IUPUI Campus Center (JagTag Office) and Parking Services Office.
