Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority (CIRTA)’s County Connect coordinates existing transportation services across county lines to help a residents travel the region. For example, if a passenger lives in one county and has a medical appointment in another, they would likely need to use services from two providers to get to their destination. That’s where County Connect’s website, 327ride.net, comes in as it consolidates all transportation providers into one place. For more information, call 317.327.RIDE or 855.292.RIDE.
The Plainfield Connector runs on weekdays and travels through the Plainfield industrial park area, making 11 stops on Airtech, Whitaker, Reeves, and Perry Roads. Passengers can transfer to the Plainfield Connector from IndyGo’s Route 8, on the northbound side of Bridgeport Road, between Washington and Perimeter. Trips leave from IndyGo’s Route 8 stop about every 30 minutes in the morning and late afternoon/evening. Please note that Route 8G will not serve Bridgeport Road. A separate fare is required.
