This June we are encouraging Indy residents to take a month long challenge to Dump the Pump. What do we mean by “Dump the Pump?” IndyGo is celebrating the American Public Transportation Association’s 10th annual national Dump the Pump Day by encouraging people to get out of their cars and experience one of Indy’s many transportation options!
This year, if you decide to take our challenge you can win some great prizes! From a free annual membership to BlueIndy, passes to GoApe ropes course at Eagle Creek Park, to a Trek Commuter Bike and even a free year of passes for IndyGo! It’s simple, just register a bus pass (purchase one here), and ride the bus.
You can Dump the Pump in many ways, not just by taking the bus. Try walking to work, or if that’s not an option then try riding your bike. Instead of driving to your lunch meeting test out the Pacer’s Bikeshare (soon you’ll even be able to take an all electric BlueIndy car). Carpooling could be another option with Commuter Connect!
