Visitors from other cities who are eligible and certified under ADA criteria are welcome to use Open Door during their visit to Indianapolis for up to 21 days in a calendar year. Open Door customers are offered the same visitor rider privileges in other cities.

What are the requirements for a visitor from another city?
Persons requesting visitor status must show proof of eligibility paperwork from their local transit agency certifying they are eligible.This information must be provided on the requesting agency’s letterhead. Information requirements include:
A temporary pass will be mailed to the address specified within 10 days of receiving the required information.
