Brickyard 400: No Service to the IMS IndyGo will not be providing park and ride service on race days to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway due to the Federal Transit Administration Regulations regarding charter services. On Thursday, August 12 from 11:00 a.m. – 2 p.m., you can have free admission to the Indiana State Fair if you ride IndyGo. Ride Routes 4 or 39 and you’ll be greeting by an IndyGo representative at the Main Gate (Gate 1 off of 38th Street). You’ll receive a coupon for FREE ADMISSION. Visit www.in.gov/statefair/ for details about this year’s Fair. Single rides on IndyGo are only $1.75 and Day Passes are $4.00. Mayor's 2010 Latino Soccer Cup IndyGo and the International & Cultural Affairs group of the City of Indianapolis are collaborating to enhance awareness among the Hispanic community of public transit. The collaboration currently focuses on the Mayor's 2010 Latino Soccer Cup: August 7-8 at Northwestway Park, located at 5253 W. 62nd Street (Moller Road). IndyGo Route 37 serves Northwestway Park. To help with travel training, IndyGo and Central Indiana Commuter Services recently collaborated to develop a How to Ride IndyGo video for the City's Hispanic television program, Somos Indianapolis. The segment aired on Ch 16 on May 17. Summer Youth Pass On Sale in May
If you’re 18 years of age or younger, you can buy an IndyGo Summer Youth Pass for only $30.00! That’s three months of unlimited rides for the price of one! Passes are valid June 1 – August 31, 2010. All pass users will need to present a valid Student ID (K-12) or IndyGo Half Fare ID in conjunction with the Summer Youth Pass. Ride IndyGo to Indy Parks, shopping malls, work and summer school! And don’t forget that all IndyGo buses have bike racks, so you can bike and ride as well! IndyGo Summer Youth Passes will be available for sale in May online or by calling 317.635.3344. If you’ve never used IndyGo, be sure to check out our How to Ride and Rider Guidelines to help get you started. You can also call the Customer Service Center at 317.635.3344 for trip planning assistance. Have fun this summer with your IndyGo Summer Youth Pass!
