Dump the Pump and Ride IndyGo
IndyGo is partnering with WIBC in promoting national Dump the Pump Day. On Wednesday, June 17, IndyGo and its community partners will be on Monument
Circle (by Emmis Communications) during the lunch hours 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. to assist folks with trip planning and share other environmentally sound commuting and
lifestyle tips. The actual Dump the Pump Day is Thursday, June 18, so the event is to help new bus commuters learn more about riding IndyGo.
Dump the Pump is designed to encourage people to get out of their cars and ride public transportation to raise awareness of the financial benefits of
transit. Public transportation has the ability to save people money, conserve gasoline, and reduce the harmful greenhouse gases emitted into our
environment. For more information about how public transportation affects our lives, visit the American Public Transportation Association website.
