Indianapolis Bike To Work Day Be Green and be Healthy and celebrate the Indiana Bicycle Coalition’s Indianapolis’ Bike to Work Day, presented by IndyGo and Knozone.

Since 1993, the Indiana Bicycle coalition’s mission has been to create a bicycle friendly Indiana through promotion, education and advocacy.  BTW Day is a perfect way to support healthy, green and cost effective commuting.

BTW makes it easy for you to ride downtown with suggested group commuting rides from all sections of Marion County.  Don’t miss breakfast on Monument Circle from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m.  Parking for bikes will be available along with demonstrations, booths and a downtown bike ride over lunch.

IndyGo is honored to serve as host agency for the 37th COMTO National Meeting and Training Conference to be held in Indianapolis July 11 – 16, 2008.  COMTO which stands for the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials is a 37 year old national organization that was founded to promote and support educational and leadership opportunities for minorities in the multimodal transportation industry.  The COMTO conference is one of the premier annual events in the transportation industry and will bring approximately 750 transportation officials and representatives to Indianapolis this summer.  The conference will be held at the downtown Crowne Plaza and Union Station.  For further information or to register for the conference please visit the COMTO website at www.comto.org.
