David Wu

David Wu brings urban planning and mass transit experience to the IndyGo Board of Directors, having previously worked on the mayor’s strategic plan for the city.

Wu is currently the vice president of business intelligence and analytics for Angie’s List, an unbiased ratings and reviews web site for local services. Previously, he worked as a policy advisor to Mayor Greg Ballard and Governor Mitch Daniels. And in 2009, the Indianapolis Business Journal featured him in its “40 Under 40” issue, which highlights budding superstars from the Central Indiana business community who are really going places.

Additionally, Wu has served as the vice president of policy research for Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, the vice president for Hansberger Global Investors and an assistant editor for The Economist Group.

Originally from San Francisco, Wu earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wesleyan University in Connecticut before pursuing a master’s degree in economics at the University of Wisconsin. He also has master of public administration degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
