Green Line Downtown/Airport Express - Route 205

Easy, efficient and economical, the Green Line Downtown/Airport Express operates daily non-stop service between downtown Indianapolis and the Indianapolis International Airport from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Service frequency is every 20 minutes, with an estimated 15-minute travel time.

Green Line Service Summary

• Only $7 each way (economy parking at the airport is $9 per day)
• Children age 5 and under ride free with a fare-paying or pass-holding adult, limit 2
• Half fare available to those who qualify
• Downtown stops serve 17 major hotels and provide access to 30 local bus routes
• Airport pick-up/drop-off at the Ground Transportation Center (Zone 6)
• ADA accessible vehicles can accomodate two wheelchairs 
• Each bus seats 26 passengers with no wheelchairs on board, seats 22 with wheelchairs on board
• Each bus has a 75 cubic feet luggage rack
• Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover are accepted on the bus, if paying in cash exact fare required (receipts available)
• Advance ticket purchases can be made online, by phone or at the IndyGo retail store
• Businesses can order Green Line Downtown/Airport Express fare passes in bulk for their frequent flyers
• IndyGo's local service Route 8 - Washington Street also serves the Indianapolis International Airport. Local service fare is $1.75 cash only. Exact fare required. Board at Zone 6.

Traveling from Downtown to the Airport

The Green Line Downtown/Airport Express buses depart from the Convention Center every 20 minutes and serve all Green Line stops in the downtown area before heading back to the Airport. See the map below for Green Line stop locations in downtown Indianapolis.

Traveling from the Airport to Downtown

Board the Green Line Downtown/Airport Express at the Ground Transportation Center, Zone 6. The Ground Transportation Center is located between the Airport terminal/baggage claim area and the parking garage. Use the pedestrian walkways from the terminal/baggage claim areas to access Ground Transportation. Zone 6 is outdoors on the ground floor. See the map below.
