INDIANAPOLIS – IndyGo continues to make public transit improvements.

The public is encouraged to attend one of several March – April open houses about three specific projects: Purple Line Rapid Transit, Central Avenue 2 Way Street Conversion, and proposed downtown Super-Stops.

Central Avenue 2 Way Street Conversion
IndyGo and Indianapolis Department of Public Works are partnering to plan and construct changes on Central Avenue to allow two-way traffic between Fall Creek and 10th Street.

IndyGo plans to improve transit stop infrastructure for better service on Alabama Street, Delaware Street, and Fort Wayne Avenue to accommodate the Transit Plan’s increased frequencies.
