INDIANAPOLIS — Starting Sunday, Oct. 11, IndyGo will implement minor alignment changes and schedule adjustments to improve trip times and service quality.
Minor Alignment Changes:
Route 5 – Route 5’s inbound route will be slightly realigned to save overall trip time. It will no longer serve Millersville Road and Meadows Parkway, but it will continue to serve Meadows Drive.
From the layover stop at Meadows Drive and 39th Street, it will turn east on 38th Street and return to Sherman Drive without going to Keystone Avenue or 42nd Street. This shorter alignment will improve on-time performance and allow the route to follow a regular 60-minute frequency on weekends rather than 65 minutes.

Route 25 – Route 25’s alignment and schedule will be updated to reflect the closure of the 16th Street bridge over the White River that began in June. Some Route 6 stops on Indiana Avenue and Route 37 stops on White River Parkway will be formally added to Route 25. This detour will be reflected in preferred GPS navigation systems and the Transit app.

Minor Schedule Changes:
Routes 5, 21, 25, 26, 30 and 82 will undergo minor schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance. These changes are intended to better align schedules with current traffic conditions and rider travel patterns.
