IndyGo and the Indianapolis Office of Public Health and Safety (OPHS) Division of Community Nutrition and Food Policy are launching the eighth consecutive year of Food in Transit! In addition to the FREE complimentary meal ingredients and produce offered during the program, participants will find recipes sharing how to cook the available prepackaged foods.

Food in Transit is designed to inspire healthy eating habits and increase community access to nutritious food options. The free produce is provided through a partnership with the Kheprw Institute. The collaboration and recipe ingredients are made possible thanks to $7,500 in federal funding from OPHS, as well as contributions from Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana.
