Annette Darrow is a core leader at IndyGo, with more than 30 years of service at the agency and 33 years in the transit industry. Her extensive experience began as a student at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she held various roles from operator to supervisor. She joined IndyGo in 1996 and has since advanced through key positions, including Manager of Customer Service and Manager of Planning and Scheduling, before being promoted to Director of Service Planning and Senior Director of Service Planning in 2023. Under her leadership, the Service Planning department has grown significantly, expanding its scope to include a dedicated Operations Performance group. This team is focused on analyzing data to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency across the agency. Annette’s contributions have been vital to many of IndyGo’s most transformative projects, from securing over $100 million in grant funding and deploying new technologies to leading four Comprehensive Operational Analyses (COAs), the Julia M. Carson Transit Center, the electric Bus Rapid Transit lines, and spearheading the Marion County Transit Plan. She remains dedicated to advancing the agency by making data-informed decisions, developing a strong succession plan, and ensuring IndyGo’s service offerings continue to meet the city’s evolving needs.
