INDIANAPOLIS — IndyGo is pleased to announce the appointment of Adrianne Slash to its Board of Directors. Slash currently works in talent development for a local healthcare system and will bring extensive experience to the agency in areas such as civic leadership and community engagement. She was appointed by the Indianapolis City-County Council.
Slash serves as chairwoman of the Indiana Civil Rights Commission and board vice chair with Dress for Success Indianapolis. Additionally, she’s a board member at the Indianapolis Urban League, ReCenter Indiana and Six Sigma Racial Equity Institute.
Her commitment to civic initiatives has been recognized through numerous honors, including the Indianapolis Business Journal’s “Forty under 40” class, United Way’s 100 Heroes, Breakthrough Women in Public Policy by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Indianapolis Chapter and National Urban League Young Professionals’ National President of the Year. She is also a past Tobias Leadership fellow, an Exchange Leadership fellow and an Indianapolis Foundation fellow.
“We are delighted to welcome a community servant as exemplary as Adrianne to our Board of Directors,” said IndyGo Board of Directors Chair Gregory Hahn. “Her vast background in civic leadership makes her well-versed in the community’s needs and will be pivotal in strategizing how we can extend our impact throughout the city.”
Slash holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Hampton University and is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and the Junior League of Indianapolis. She is also a proud dog mom to two fur-children.
