INDIANAPOLIS — During the season of giving, IndyGo is showing its thanks to riders and giving back by providing fare-free service Thanksgiving Day. On Thursday, Nov. 24, riders can enjoy free rides on fixed routes and IndyGo Access service, formerly known as Open Door. Regular fares will resume Friday, Nov. 25.  

Buses will operate on a Sunday schedule for Thanksgiving Day. The Customer Care Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Care Center Desk at the Julia M. Carson Transit Center will be open from 9 a.m. to noon. Regular Care Center hours will also resume Friday, Nov. 25. Click here for holiday hours.  

IndyGo will also offer fare-free service on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve after 8 p.m.
