INDIANAPOLIS - The IndyGo Board of Directors today approved a resolution allowing IndyGo to offer free rides this upcoming Election Day.

All IndyGo fixed route and Open Door service will be fare-free on November 3, 2020 from the start of service until 10:00 p.m.

“Transportation means access – to jobs, to education, and to opportunities like casting your ballot,” said Inez Evans, President and CEO of IndyGo. “IndyGo is glad to do our part to reduce barriers to accessing the polls this year.”

“The Board of Directors is honored to be able to approve this initiative to help riders get to the polls,” said Greg Hahn, Chair of IndyGo’s Board of Directors. “As an essential public service, we are proud to support our community in exercising their right to vote.”
