INDIANAPOLIS – Beginning on or after June 1, the south portion of Keystone Avenue at 38th Street will be closed for approximately 10 days for roadway improvements. North and southbound traffic will not be allowed through the intersection. The eastbound lane and intermittent side street closures for the Fall Creek Parkway to Keystone Avenue 130-day closure are expected to continue through mid-August.  

Motorists will be required to detour around the closure using 46th Street, Sherman Drive and 34th Street. (See Motorist Impacts map below.) 

IndyGo Routes 4, 26 and 39 will be detoured around the closure and temporary stops implemented. (See Rider Impacts map below.) 

  • Route 4: Eastbound bus stops on 38th Street from Fall Creek Parkway to Meadows Drive and on Meadows Drive from 38th Street to Meadows Parkway will be impacted. Route 4 eastbound service will be required to detour using Fall Creek Parkway, Keystone Avenue, Millersville Road and Meadows Parkway. 
  • Route 26: Northbound bus stops between 34th and 38th streets and southbound bus stops between Millersville Road and 34th Street will be impacted. Route 26 northbound service will be required to detour using 34th, Oxford and 38th streets back to Keystone Avenue. Route 26 southbound service will use Millersville Road, Meadows Parkway, Meadows Drive and Oxford and 34th streets back to Keystone Avenue.  
  • Route 39: Eastbound bus stops on 38th Street from Fall Creek Parkway to Meadows Drive will be impacted. Route 39 eastbound service will be required to detour using Fall Creek Parkway, Keystone Avenue, Millersville Road, Meadows Parkway and Meadows Drive back to 38th Street.
