INDIANAPOLIS — IndyGo would like to inform riders and motorists that Red Line enhancement work on the stations along Meridian Street, between 30th and 38th streets, will begin on or after Monday, May 22. This work will include bus pad reinforcement and concrete pouring that will continue through late June.

Vehicular traffic will be detoured around the station closures using Central Avenue. Local access will be maintained in this segment. (See motorist detour map below.)

For riders, the 30th, 34th and 38th street Red Line stations on Meridian Street will be closed. Northbound service will be temporarily shifted to local stops on Illinois street. Southbound service will be temporarily shifted to local stops on Capitol Avenue. (See rider map below.)

As a reminder, IndyGo is making these significant improvements to the Red Line to provide additional long-term stability and protect the significant investment made in the system’s infrastructure. Work is expected to be complete by August 2023.
