You can represent your community in a collaboration that moves our city’s transit forward. It’s rewarding and it’s important.

Transit Neighbors

IndyGo is looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteer leaders to become an IndyGo Transit Neighbor.

If you believe mobility is an important part of the Indianapolis community and want your neighborhood to have a voice, here’s your chance to help IndyGo spread the word and gather feedback about transit services and projects.

As a Neighbor, you’ll help IndyGo build a strong relationship with the communities we serve by being a communications link to your community and IndyGo.

Transit Neighbors regularly attend their community meetings and present IndyGo updates, while collecting feedback. You’ll be a source of information about IndyGo service changes and/or upcoming projects. You’ll be a member of the IndyGo go-to crew.

Eligible volunteers must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to a year term. As a Neighbor, you’ll be expected to attend and present at your monthly neighborhood meeting and solicit neighborhood feedback.

  • Attend monthly neighborhood association meeting
  • Provide information and collect feedback on IndyGo service changes and/or upcoming projects
  • Maintain good tracking records of dialogue and communicate feedback to IndyGo

Do it! Apply today for the upcoming term. If you have questions or would like to request special accommodations, please contact Jordan Patterson at jpatterson@indygo.net.
