INDIANAPOLIS – IndyGo is hosting three free Spirit & Place Festival events that will offer literally moving stories: Participants will hop on a bus, hear from transit riders about how transit connects communities, and learn to share the stories they heard and/or experienced at a workshop presented by Mark Latta, director of the Marian University Writing Center.
“Stories of Indianapolis Transit” will be held three times and focus on each of the three rapid transit lines (Red, Purple and Blue) that will be in operation by 2022.
Participants will meet at one of three starting locations depending on the day (see below). They’ll hop on a bus to hear from transit users and others before settling in for a storytelling workshop at the Julia M. Carson Transit Center. Participants will craft their own stories and then take the bus back to the starting point.
