INDIANAPOLIS – Ford has extended the City:One Challenge deadline to August 6 to provide more opportunities for Indianapolis’ residents, community groups, visitors and entrepreneurs to submit their mobility solution idea for a chance at up $100k in pilot funding.
A total of $100,000 in funding is available to test or deploy winning proposals in Indianapolis. Up to two pilots may be selected for funding with this demonstration funding pool. Terms of the award will be executed via a Statement of Work with the Winner(s), and promising proposals may be considered for further partnership by Indianapolis and Challenge partners. In addition, Finalists may have their applications reviewed by other groups at Ford for potential further investment. Winners may have the chance to pitch to these groups as well.
All are invited to participate by submitting an idea. The Indianapolis challenge has four very specific opportunity areas that proposals should try to address:
- Increase Reliable Access
- Expand Affordable Transportation Choices
- Support Residents with Disabilities or Other Challenges
- Create Comfortable Journeys for Families
