INDIANAPOLIS — IndyGo is pleased to welcome Robert Frye as our new Chief Legal Officer. Frye comes to IndyGo with extensive legal experience in Indiana where he’s been practicing law for nearly 30 years in corporate, private practice and government settings. He most recently served as legal counsel to the City of Indianapolis Department of Public Works for eight years. Prior to that, he also worked for the city’s Department of Metropolitan Development, owned his own private firm, managed litigation for a national banking institution, along with several other stints in different roles at DPW. At IndyGo, Frye will oversee all legal issues surrounding the operations, functions and funding of the corporation.

“We are excited to welcome Robert to the IndyGo team! His deep roots in Indianapolis and extensive expertise in several areas of law make him well-positioned to take IndyGo to the next level, and we look forward to his contributions,” said IndyGo President and CEO Inez Evans.

Frye earned a Bachelor of Science degree in public policy from Indiana University and his law degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He is a lifelong Indy resident, where he currently lives. He and his wife enjoy traveling and visiting their three adult children in Los Angeles, Denver and Chicago. Frye will start his new position at IndyGo Nov. 20.
