INDIANAPOLIS — On Sunday, Feb. 9, IndyGo will implement minor service modifications to improve on-time performance. It will also perform route name updates to better represent service near Indianapolis’ southeast side.
Schedule Changes:
Routes 2, 3, 11, 19, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 82 and 87 will undergo minor scheduling adjustments. This includes implementing earlier trips for Routes 3, 30 and 87.
Route 26 will also show adjusted arrival times at select bus stops. A new timepoint at the intersection of Rural and 25th streets will replace current timepoints at 10th Street and 30th Street.
Name Changes:
Route 16, currently known as Beech Grove, and Route 56, currently known as Emerson, will switch names. Route 16 will be called Emerson, and Route 56 will be called Beech Grove. These changes are intended to better represent the areas served by each route.
While none of the changes will impact the alignment of any route, riders are encouraged to check the new schedules at the Julia M. Carson Transit Center to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about their routes. Updated print maps are expected to be available at the Carson Transit Center the week of Jan. 27. Riders can also view updated schedules toward the bottom of the individual route pages here.
