INDIANAPOLIS (June 30, 2015) – On Saturday, July 4, IndyGo will operate on an amended Sunday schedule, to help get passengers home after the Donatos Downtown Freedom Blast.

Any route that runs on Sundays will make an additional outbound trip from downtown at 11 p.m. Passengers may board one of the 17 downtown routes which will leave from Ohio and Capitol or Capitol and Market. Note: Ohio and Meridian Stops will be closed.

Several other special events on Saturday, July 4 will greatly impact service causing detours and delays in the downtown area. Passengers should plan ahead and allow plenty of time for travel to their destinations on Independence Day.

Reroutes due to street closures and the extra trip at 11 p.m. won’t be reflected in trip plans on Google Maps or on IndyGo’s Quick Trip Planner. In the event the Freedom Blast is rained out, IndyGo will still operate the additional 11 p.m. trips.

IndyGo’s Customer Service Call and Retail Centers along with the Administrative Office will be closed. Please visit IndyGo.net or call Customer Service before July 4 at 317.635.3344 to find out if your trips will be impacted.
