INDIANAPOLIS — Join IndyGo for the third annual Back-to-School Night Thursday, July 24, from 6 – 8 p.m., at the Julia M. Carson Transit Center (CTC).

This highly anticipated event is for individuals 18 years and younger who wish to learn new life skills and achieve greater independence by using public transit to travel to and from school and anywhere else throughout the city.

IndyGo is offering area youth an all-inclusive event where they can receive a personalized, reduced-fare MyKey card that will allow them to ride at IndyGo’s half-fare rate, a free backpack (while supplies last) and travel training to help access the bus network for the upcoming school year. Additionally, this event will feature a DJ, free food and fun IndyGo swag, with support from our generous sponsors Howdy Homemade Ice Cream and New Direction Church.

Students who are enrolled in any of IndyGo’s partnering schools or programs listed below are eligible to ride fare free with their personalized MyKey card. This gives them unlimited access to IndyGo’s entire bus network at no direct cost to them or their families, for as long as they are enrolled at the school. IndyGo encourages students to get a completed Program Enrollment Form from their school administrator prior to attending the event. However, one will not be required for this event. Students enrolled at a non-participating school (ages 18 and younger) are eligible to ride at IndyGo’s half-fare rate and can receive a personalized MyKey card at this event.
