INDIANAPOLIS — In an effort to enhance the fan experience, IndyGo is proud to support the first-ever WNBA All-Star Weekend hosted in Indianapolis by offering fare-free rides, sponsored by Pacers Sports and Entertainment, July 18 and 19, to celebrate festivities downtown surrounding the WNBA All-Star Game.

Riders attending WNBA All-Star events at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, can board nearly any route traveling downtown and use the Julia M. Carson Transit Center (CTC). Gainbridge Fieldhouse is one block south and within walking distance of the CTC.

Riders attending WNBA All-Star events at the Indiana Convention Center, can take Route 8 or IndyGo’s Red and Purple Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lines. Individuals traveling westbound on Route 8 can use the Washington Street and Senate Avenue bus stop. Individuals traveling eastbound on Route 8 can use the Maryland and Missouri streets bus stop. Individuals traveling on the BRT lines can use the Statehouse Station, located near Washington Street and Capitol Avenue, and walk one block south to arrive at the venue.

Riders attending WNBA All-Star events at Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park, can take Route 8. Individuals traveling westbound can use the Washington and West streets – White River Street bus stop. Individuals traveling eastbound can use the Washington Street and Schumacher Way bus stop. The amphitheater is within walking distance of the highlighted stops. (See map below.)

Riding on IndyGo requires only two simple steps during WNBA All-Star 2025: Plan your trip and ride the bus!

To plan your trip, you can choose one of four options:

  • Google Maps (choose transit option).
  • The MyStop app.
  • IndyGo’s Trip Planner (net/plan-your-trip/).
  • Call IndyGo’s Customer Care Center – 317-635-3344.

Once you determine your route, go to your designated stop, board the IndyGo bus and enjoy your free ride as you skip the frustrations of heavy traffic, parking downtown and walking long distances!
