INDIANAPOLIS — The award-winning concert web series, “Music in Transit,” is returning for its sixth season, with the taping of local musical acts scheduled to take place this weekend, Friday, May 3, 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., and Saturday, May 4, 11 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Filming will occur in Fountain Square at Stonetree Studio, 1026 Shelby St.  

This season of “Music in Transit” is running in partnership with IndyGo, Square Cat Vinyl and GANGGANG. In past years, the Indiana-based musical acts performed on a 60-foot, articulated, electric battery IndyGo Red Line bus. New this year, the acts will perform on a recently unveiled Purple Line bus.   

The public is invited to attend and watch the live taping. Join the fun and watch this year’s artists perform, including: 

  • Antlerhead (Rock) 
  • Moon Goons (Psychedelic Rock) 
  • BAYEM (R & B) 
  • Deckademics DJ School  
  • Premium Blend (Jazz) 
  • The Indigos (Alternative Funk Rock) 
  • Chreece in Transit 

(The following rappers will also be featured at the Chreece hip-hop music festival in August) 

  • Jet Santiago 
  • T.G.I.FREE 
  • Kiana Flowers 
  • Keaven OH 

The new season will be available on Square Cat Vinyl’s YouTube channel, with the first video debuting later this summer. Additional music videos will be released every Sunday at noon following the season six premiere.
