monumental_headerINDIANAPOLIS – IndyGo passengers should prepare for significant route detours, street and stop closures, and delays throughout Indianapolis due to the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon on Saturday, November 4. IndyGo strongly encourages passengers to make transfers at the Transit Center during this time.

Street closures will begin as early as 5:30am on Saturday morning and are expected to last through 4:30pm. All stops in the downtown loop will be closed during this time, and significant delays and detours will occur throughout the system as buses encounter roadblocks and extensive street closures. Street closures will also impact on-time performance for IndyGo Open Door ADA Paratransit service.

Customers should also be aware that IndyGo’s online trip planner and information on Google maps will not reflect changes in service due to detours. IndyGo recommends that riders choose an earlier scheduled bus trip or make alternative travel arrangements to ensure they arrive to their destinations on time.

Please visit our website or call the IndyGo Customer Service Center at 317.634.3344 Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. or Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for more information.
