IndyGo is seeking those who live, work or ride along the Purple Line to participate in an exciting project to highlight the community: The People of the Purple Line Photo Shoot! Become a Purple Line celebrity and apply to participate in the project at the button below.
The Purple Line is anticipated to go live Fall 2024, and IndyGo wants to hear your ideas on events and festivities you’d like to see to celebrate the Purple Line launch! Have a great idea you’d like to share? Complete the short survey at the button below to provide your insight.
IndyGo is meeting community members where they are by allowing them to request an IndyGo representative or activation at their future gatherings. Representatives can share important updates on IndyGo’s initiatives or teach guests how to ride transit! Request a visit at the button below.
IndyGo is committed to and supports local businesses before, during and after Purple Line construction. This includes offering a community toolkit for informational resources, signage, volunteer support, and more, for local organizations and businesses. In addition, Indy Chamber’s Business Ownership Initiative can offer support to local businesses during construction.
The IndyGo team currently hosts Purple Line virtual office hours every Wednesday from 5 to 6 p.m. This is your chance to ask questions, get construction updates, learn about benefits and find out the latest information.
Jarvis Jointer is an Indianapolis native who earned his civil engineering degree from Purdue University in 2004. He has spent his career in various roles and experiences in civil engineering which include construction administration, site engineering, transportation engineering and environmental engineering. Jarvis has held principal roles and led companies to substantial growth in the local and national marketplace.
As Purple Line Corridor Liaison, Jarvis will serve as a link between construction crews and the community. He will be a resource to businesses and communities throughout the construction process. For questions or concerns about the project, email jarvis.jointer@indygo.net or call 317-661-1964.
